As a dancer at the school, Hannah has performed many works by choreographers such as Martha Graham, Larry Keigwin, Tamara Dyke Compton, Chris Compton, Michael Williams and Autumn Eckman. In 2018, she was the recipient of the “Celebration of Excellence Award” as a freshman. In the summer of 2019, she traveled to Bolzano Italy to assist professor Sam Watson, as he taught at the Bolzano Dance Festival. Within the past two summers, Hannah has traveled to Steamboat Colorado to attend Perry Mansfield summer intensive, where she performed works by master choreographers Shannon Gillen (Artistic Director of Vim Vigor) and Peter Chu (Artistic Director of Chuthis). Her Junior year at Arizona, she received the “Creative Achievement Award”. With choreography, her journey began when she received the opportunity to choreograph a concept video, “Blinded”, with Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention in 2017. Since then, Hannah has had three pieces selected for shows that have been performed at Stevie Eller Dance Theatre.
In 2018, she was selected as a finalist for CDC McClaine Timmerman Choreography Festival, and in 2019 she was selected as a finalist for the Palm Desert Choreography Festival in Palm Desert California. She has hopes of continuing to pursue choreography and performing at a higher level upon graduation.
